Jinwoo Kim is a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology at Sensorium Therapeutics, where he develops machine learning models to screen naturally derived drug candidates for desirable psychoactive properties using cheminformatics and bioinformatics. With over a decade of research experience, Jinwoo has extensive expertise in large-scale biological and chemical data anaysis, with a focus on bacterial and fungal genomes. Prior to joining Sensorium, he worked at Lifemine Therapeutics and Solarea Bio, where he contributed to the development of drug discovery algorithms and bioinformatics pipelines for processing large amounts of sequencing data. Jinwoo earned his Ph.D. and B.S. from Seoul National University and completed his postdoctoral research at UCSD.
